A Blog by April 🎄:
Holiday Season is here and so are some of the potential hazards for our furry family members. There are several websites that have excellent information on a variety of dangerous decorations, foods, and plants that I will list for you to check out rather than restating what they say. What I would like to share is how I have been decorating my tree for many years now. It’s just a small purple tree that fits perfectly in my front window on top of my old record player’s cabinet – most of my windows have something in front of them for the cats to be able to enjoy watching what’s going on outside or getting fresh air. All of the decorations are cat toys that have been stored in a bag with catnip since last year!!! I use a heavy tree stand so it won’t tip over if they climb or jump in it. Every few days I pick up what they’ve knocked onto the floor and put them back on the tree. They are happy, I love it, and nothing is dangerous or breakable! This will be our kittens’ first Christmas and I can’t wait to see how they react to it!!! Safe and Happy Holidays to all!!!
