A Blog by April 🐶:
Dog parks are a great way to socialize and exercise your dog – both physically and mentally. Unfortunately, some visitors to dog parks do not have a positive experience. When it comes to dog park etiquette, it’s really the owner’s actions that will help the dogs have a positive experience. Not only does your own dog need to be able to obey simple commands, but you need to be aware of other dogs, owners and the overall environment. The VCA has a comprehensive article on dog park etiquette. Hopefully if you take the time and follow their guidelines, you and your furry friends will have a safer and happier time visiting dog parks. Oh, and don’t forget the Flea Treats to share with your pup’s new friends!
